That is already cool just sitting there, no wheels and all, I like it!

Glad to see you back and love to see the direction that you are going. This will be a good contrast for Tuffy

Not me...but I am pretty good at falling down! I need to go through my stuff but I think a 35 rear and a dropped model a axle in front. Flathead with a 471 blower and undecided on the tranny.

LOL...I like the way you think!

  12. Welcome back @kisam!

I'm really looking forward to following this build!

    Custom \'34 3wd Coupe (Kathy\'s Photshopped pic).jpg

Looks like someone's been busy with Photoshop ;) :D:

Custom \'34 3wd Coupe (Original pic from 1947).jpg
This 1934 Ford coupe was chopped, had solid hood sides, Appleton Spotlights,
1941 Ford bumpers and white trim rings to simulate white wall tires. The stance
and overall look and feel is all custom. The photo was taken in 1947.

Custom \'34 3wd Coupe (another pic of same coupe).jpg
Here is the same coupe as above, but now wearing a set of white wall tires and single
bar flipper hubcaps. The rest stayed the same, but what a difference in appearance.

NOTE: These images & captions are from a Tom Nielsen article on @Rikster's "Custom Car Chronicle" website.

So will the "Flying Goddess" be a 5-window version of the above '40s era Custom? ... or are you gonna tackle the enormous task of converting your coupe into a 3-window?

I remember long ago some of the old timers used to say cars don't wear skirts. Those are called fender pants.

Already a change of plans. I pulled this 354 Poly out of a 57 Chrysler Windsor about 10 years ago. It showed 29k on the odometer? It has a stripped nut on the starter so im hoping? IMAG3015.jpg IMAG3015.jpg IMAG3016.jpg IMAG3017.jpg

Penzoil was exactly what i thought! Like pharaffin wax! Maybe a blown head gasket? Trying to pull the heads...work with me baby...breaking out the BFH!
