Hot Rods Who is currently working on or has a 1932 Ford?

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by HOTRODPRIMER, May 28, 2015.

  1. I wish I was. This one is my dad's, and I have been trying to get his permission (and checkbook), to let my brother-in-law and me start to rebuild it. It's been apart for over 50 years. Absolutely straight as an arrow and no rust!

  2. Ok that got things rolling again. So down with the pic. ;)

I'll leave the last statement up though. ;)

Nice looking deuces by the way, well all of 'em except Danny's. The only thing that could make Danny's deuce look good would be the beaner behind the wheel. :D :D :D

Of course glass counts when it as nice as yours.
I don't think glass counts when you have roller skate tyres and billet wheels with digital dash. You know the rules.

This one? (asking 2800) but sold.
I dont know much about em really, but I figured that was about as cheap as you can get by with saying you own a real henry steel 32 ford.

PICT3289.JPG The trans I put in last August has already quit and it was on this day the pic was taken. So the trans is at the shop, hopefully getting repaired. View attachment 2917136 The car is back on the road again, painted the grille shell shiny black and installed an trans cooler in front of the radiator. Runs good again but a lot of time driving has been lost.

  18. You know about my Tudor. Another day or so and hopefully the flattie will run. Then on to some other fun jobs fixing the PO's botched attempts.

Next year for the All Deuce Run.

    Maybe Shades in Sept.

I've got a couple and I'm working on a couple more for customers. The green one is the real deal and the black one is a Brookville. One of the customer roadsters is a glass car that was wrecked and is getting a total rebuild. The other is a Dearborn Deuce that's getting a lot of non-HAMB friendly upgrades, still quite tasteful though.

I picked up this sweet pile of bits for what I would consider a once in a lifetime deal at a local auction a few weeks ago, had it for a couple days and turned down offers to buy it until a friend of mine offered to trade me the one car that I wanted more than this one, a '51 Merc coupe.

At least I can honestly say that I've had a Deuce.

If anyone in my area wants the world's cheapest Henry '32 project, I've got a super roached out cowl and back cab panel from a '32 truck, plus a wrong fiberglass firewall I'd sell to someone for $100 or trade me something cool, otherwise I'm going to hang it on the wall like a trophy.

I have a 5-w that I picked up years ago. Trying to finish a couple of other projects first but it's trying to budge it's way to the front of the line. 8AB, Fenton intake with 3 97's, original Eddie Meyer heads, '39 tranny, '40 Ford reared, etc.

    Thanks Tony--
Now I don't have to go out to the shop tonight just to look at a picture of your car.
I'd say badass, but I just hate that term.
