Wow you were so lucky to find a bodyman that works that quick.

A few more from the past few days. Driver Side door tacked back together. Windshield tacked and hinged. the wood above the windshield needs to be reinforced with metal temporarily to get the frame to close all the way. The windshield arm pivot points were lowered 4".

I think 4" is perfect. I'm gonna try that on one, maybe both of my coupes (someday).
Are you going to fab a hood?
I always like open, but lately some of the Bonneville & 'Bones style hoods are lookin real good too.

Also, must compliment you on your floorwork. I hate to try to copy you...but your work & pics are really close to what I've been "trying" to accomplish. After I stuffed that TANK's tank in the trunk (as you show) the trunk space is really limited, huh?
I guess it'll get some weight over the rear axle.
I'm about at this stage, but probably 2 yrs behind you to finish...
Where are you going to hide a battery?

Thanks a lot! I do have a nice good I'd like to fit. Might be a project while it's on the road though.

    Thanks Matt!

Thanks a lot I appreciate it! I post all of these pics so if someone needs help they can refer back here. The tanks inc center fill tank fits perfect back there imo. With the weight of a full tank and some light luggage the backs definitely going to sit a lot lower. I might have to put one spring back in the rear leaf when the time comes. The battery issue might be resolved with one of those smaller odyssey batteries either under the dash or behind the seat.

Looking good. I was interested on the body mounting as I will be doing that on mine soon. I did note though that you forgot to mount the clutch peddle.

    Thanks Matt!

To be honest I think the body mounts for a model A on 32 rails will be slightly different in every body/frame configuration depending if the frame is aftermarket or original. I have ten in total. Five each side. Haha believe me if I could stretch my budget for stick I would.

Yep, I'm still in love with your build. Nothing like chopping a Model A to get that fire lit under your rear. Looks awesome.

Some updates. Finished building the floor up front. Went through about 5 versions of a trans cover and got fed up. Ended up buying a universal one from Howells for 50 bucks and luckily only had to make the top part that connects to the firewall. Super happy with that. I will end up riveting the cover to the floor later. Put the dash together with my Grace and Co. insert which is exactly what I wanted. Onto the steering.
