Hey dirty old man, The Summit show at the Atlanta racetrack says they are parking 40fords and 55 chevys in there own spot. I'm parking mine with the Outsiders. April 18 & 19

 

I'm stilled pissed off @ams about the races on 3/;28& 4/1, helluva time of year to schedule a race weekend in GA! Plus WTF do '55 chevys have to do with anything involving '40 Fords?????????????

 

The Goodguys show in Florida next month, I herd will have a special area just for the 1940's to be displayed.

 

The Scottsdale show had special parking.

My car was run in the 40 turns 50 tour but all I have found is one man who has a short video which is really getting fuzzy and one photo. I would love to see the video and all the 40s and would flip if I was able to see my car! By the way fellows some beautiful 40s you all have. Keep the photos coming!

 

Wish I could participate in all the fun but mine is being resurrected at the moment and that part is just as much fun to me. Have fun guys !

 

Yes. It was held during the GNRS '15. I was pissed because I FINALLY have the two coolest rides in the world, a '32 steel Highboy roadster and a '40 2-dr. and I was really looking forward to a cruise to the West Coast for their run.

 

50th Anniversary Tour, 1940 Ford, This picture taken at Donner Ski Resort on the tour, July 9-15, 1990. This is a long picture and is shown in two parts here. My friends Marv and Carol owned my '40 at the time and are the blue '40 front left, front row of the first picture. Many "thanks" to them for sharing their experiences with the car, including some great memorabilia from the 50th Celebration. Sadly we won't make the 75th Celebration in late June in CA, but am hoping to make a GoodGuys event, which is also providing a special section at each show for the '40 75th Celebration. So, who else is in this picture, was there?

GG Florida Nationals had special parking this year but we only had 5 '40s in the special parking area.

 

Hi CH4055 Thank you very much for posting the 40 turns 50 photo! Looking at the photo I can't tell for sure if that is my conv in the back or not, or possibly my car that looks to be in primer with the family around it? I will check with the lady that owned it then and see if it was painted during the tour.

Well as a lover of 40 fords, I'm gonna hop on the bandwagon and post a pic of my dad's 40 ford Tudor. This is a pic during one of our Buffalo NY winters. I have a soft spot for maroon 40s...
