I met these two briefly whilst in Austin recently…nice folks.

 

They sound like nice people. My memory isn't what it used to be but back in the day the correct name for the GM pink was "Tahitian Rose".

 

Call my OT shop truck 'Pitty Tink' but am changing it to 'Pittie Tink'

Great photo shoot! One of my favorite cars ever and this is a perfect example!

 

I saw that car at LSRU a couple years back. Very nice and even better that it gets driven. Wish I could have met the owner.

Admittedly I am biased but I will second (or third) the comment that the 59 El Camino is one of GM's finest designs ever.
