Is the first one Sebring, Fla?
And I am guessing the second is down around Key West - around the time of the Cuban Missile Crisis?
    Neat pics Swi66.
    Cheers.

The Gull wing. Looks Like Williams Grove speedway infield and that might be Doug Stearly's car.

These are from an Uncle's photo collection. He's the guy with the brand new '55. He took me to the Harrah's museum in Reno in 1973 and took pictures of nearly everything there at the time. If you're interested I could post those too.

  8. Bowie (Boo we) Race Track is a thoroughbred horse racing track located in Bowie, MD. It was 100 years old on 1 Oct 2014. It's last race was in Jul 1985, and it has been used as a thoroughbred training center since. From the pix, I take it they hoisted a lot of brewskies while watching the ponies race back in the day.

There are some very similar bridges in southern Mi. by my home area. I sure thought the second one was in the Michiana Area. Still, very cool. Thank you.

  16. E -type Jaguar . An early one as it still has the toggle switches on the dash. Later versions had rocker switches.

The first and second pictures are of the same bridge. I did a quick search for Connecticut and I believe that the red one (pictures 1 and 2) are of the bridge in Cornwall, CT. The third one looked like one that came up in the same search as being in New Hampshire.

Once (maybe still is) popular food in the Ohio and Mississippi river areas (I believe this is in St. Louis). Mad Cow Disease makes it a tad riskier these days.
