  9. That's not what he had in mind but what he ended up with when he put it all together!

The factory 52/53 Meteor tailights were pretty cool, and bolt in to any same year Ford. We do have a few spares!

The shoebox came home with me. Luckily a friend was there the day it arrived and called me. Was able to intercept it before the forklift got it. The '50 4 door was not so lucky, but it was really rough. Worked a deal on the phone ans 3 days later made the 2 hour trip to pick it up

  18. Edsel58 - Good job! The shoeboxes are a favorite Ford for me. Drives me nuts to hear folks call tri 5's that. Looks as though it's sitting down enough for an eb=ngine to be in place. Runner? How's the underside?

Thanks..... There is a Flathead, converted to 12 volt, alternator and electric fuel pump. Engine is locked up though. Been spraying PB Blaster in plug holes. Far as I can figure, it has been parked since 98. Floors been worked on in the past, trunk needs some work. Not as nice as it looks, but overall very solid and workable. Have yet to sit a battery in it to see what works. All 4 AMC wheels were present, so that is a plus.
Inside was redone at some time

Found this 31 roadster a while back. Found the owners info and offered to buy it. He said another man wanted it but it still sits after offering multiple times to remove it and pay cash.

The frame was stretched and it's powered by an olds 88 back in the 60's. I know all about it from the old timer who owns and built it back in the day. but I can't buy it. Kills me.
I guess he's a man of his word, So I have to respect it.

  25. Not as innovative as the motor home, but here are some from one of my Uncle's photos. He is the guy with the '55. 1951 LeSaber Concept.jpg 1955 Buick.jpg 1955 Buick1.jpg 1955 Buick2.jpg 1955 Buick3.jpg 1955 Buick4.jpg 1959 Buick.jpg

  26. The valves sometimes are the sticking culprit in flatheads too. Might try to get some PB Blaster down into the valves also.
