If that hole is about 1" and the "disc" is 16ish inches, then it looks like a single disc of a set of "disc harrows"........a pull behind farm implement for tilling the soil. Hard to tell from the pic how big it is?
That is a rare early Ford satellite dish. They weren't in use for very long. It turned out there were no satellites. Another idea ahead of its time. Seriously though, it looks like a disc for a farm implement to me too.
well if it was about 3" in diameter I would say it is an old hot rod carb cover for a Harley. LOL I think that most of the fellas are right about it being a farm implement piece.
Weld a ~2" pipe to it about ~4 foot long.. makes a great base for a small vise, or grinder or whatever.. I have several in my shop like that.. (Oh and for any mentally challenged folks, weld the pipe to the top of the convex side)
Well, Henry Ford was well ahead in things that weren't invented yet. It is the first internet dish interface of the turbo vasculator multi-facited co-angled supercharger coupled with the azmuth of the fenestration of the Model T windshield in the morning sun. Sheez, you guys should know that by now!
