Great shots. I'm sure there will be more to come. I broke a bone in my left arm and will miss the SK 500 May 1st weekend. I need surgery to fix it. So I look forward seeing more of your shots from the Roundup and the SK 500..
Thank you for sharing your photos.

You're welcome hopped up. Herb - I am so sorry to hear that. I always look forward to seeing you and your car. Dick I look forward to seeing you at the Stray Kat 500 next week. Thank you all for your comments and taking the time to check out my images. This thread is really in its very early stages so please check back from time to time or set it up to be watched because there are a lot of images still to come.

Ricky is a local builder. He builds cool stuff, and is a hoot to hang out with.

  10. I would consider it to be a mark of achievement to
have the image of something I built, pass through your lens.

    Great photographs as usual!
    Thank you!

I would guess a couple thousand or so attended. I took about 2,200 pictures but many of them are bracketed exposures - multiple shots of the same thing at the different exposure levels that I may or may not blend into one picture. Many others are for documentation only - pictures of entry tags and so forth. Overall - I would guess I took about 500-700 totally different pictures. Of those, I will be happy if 100-120 or so are worth working on and posting

Rich, thanks for the info on Ricky. I think this truck is also one of his. Thanks a lot Ebert and Flowmeister for your positive comments and thanks everyone for taking the time to look through these.

Bob made a silk purse out of a sow's ear. It was a streed rod and he turned into a custom.

Thanks for the comment TomH - I wish I would have seen Bob's 46 before so I could appreciate that more.

You're welcome seadog. Please stay tuned - I really do have a lot more coming. I apologize for this being so slow, but those of you who have viewed my thread know that it will take it a while before it is fully formed. I how I wish I was retired and had time to work on these all the time.

Thanks Darryl! I saw some of your photos on the other LSRU thread and they were very impressive. I will have one of your 36 pretty soon.

Dan no disrespect intended, but are you and Church one in the same? You both have photographs that look like they've come out of the same dark room. Sorry, I mean microprocesser.

I really like your shot of the Pontiac(?) With the Caddy tail lights. It has a great shade of green too. -Dave

No disrespect taken, Dave. Church (Coby Gewertz) and I are definitely 2 different people. Sometimes our style overlaps and looks similar and most times it does not. I do abstracts and detail shots quite a bit, but not that many are posted here on the HAMB. I think Coby is much more of a photography purist than I am and is not prone to using the computer as much as I do. I have always loved his work and look forward to his picture of the day thread postings.

Jeff Knudsen's 1931 A coupe with a 265 SBC with early 283 power-pak heads and rare Nicson 2x2 intake. It also has a Muncie 4 speed for trans.
