    Hmm, available a day early?

    Just placed my order.

I have a bit of a fine art/photography book addiction. This will be a great addition to the growing library.

    Can't wait to see it!

Order placed. I never ordered #1. Are there any of them left?

I bought the book this weekend along with the new Hop Up. At first, I was a little under whelmed by The Jalopy Journal. It's $30 and really is about the same size as Hop Up which is less than half the cost. And the new Hop Up is really really nice. Almost Rodder's Journal nice. Then, I sat down and read The Jalopy Journal. Everything about that book is quality. The cover, the paper, the layout, the photography and especially the writing. It's a quiet book that sings once you sit down and give it your full attention. It's a special one and well worth the $30. It ranks up there on my list with the first 5 issues of Rodders Journal as the best books ever.

My only complaint? Less people. More cars.

Thanks for the nice words man. That said, I'm good pals with The Rodder's Journal and we both work hard to support each other. And I fell in love with the new hop up. I think it's wonderful... and while I haven't read it yet, I think it's absolutely gorgeous to look at.

Point being, there is no competition here. I'm just as much a consumer as I am a publisher. Maybe more so...

You can buy #2 and #3. However, #1 has been sold out for over a decade.

Done and ordered it this morning. Can't wait to sit out on the patio, the Journal in one hand, a Mai Tai in the other...

I've thought about doing a reprint, but reformatting it to the current format. The only thing is, TJJ #1 is really bad... poor photography, bad writing, bad content, etc...

  16. How soon do you expect more devil shirts?
I'd like to combine the shipping.

  17. Ryan, I hope you don't say that about #2 and #3 in a couple of years ;)
Just placed my order for #2 and #3 and can't wait to get them. And btw subscribed for the Hop Up mag. Winter in NZ can be wet and having some good stuff to read might be a good idea.

$42.00 for shipping to Sweden. Is this for real? I just had a 2 bbl carb shipped from LA to Sweden for less.

You must have selected express shipping or something. Convo me your address and I'll test for you.

    @Swede64
So, I just tested a Swedish address and got the same thing. That shipping rate is WRONG obviously. I am looking into the issue right now and should have an answer by morning.

@Swede64 It should be fixed now. Apparently, USPS's plugin was down for a bit.

Should be back in stock early next week----the American made blanks on those come from New York so it takes a few extra days to get.
