Event Coverage What are YOU doing to get ready for the 2015 Meltdown Drags?

Guess I will just have to wait a while to see yet another magazine feature that doesn't include my poor lil Ol car.....lol

I can pretty much guarantee that we're getting some ink when the 2015 even gets covered.
The new motor and gears should make for some slightly more....."Interesting" launches...

Also spent about 7 or 8 hours out in the shop last night getting the passenger side inner wheelhousing tacked in,the spring mocked up,and then started on the driver's side by cutting a huge notch out of the frame.lol
Two or three more of these Sunday night,8hr sessions should have the repair work back there pretty much wrapped up,so I can get on with wiring issues (it was killing the battery when the headlights were used last year),plumbing and wiring in the line lock,and assembling the rear end,transmission,and engine.

This year is going to be an absolute RIOT!

rain and some hail in Polo bout a half hour west of the dragstrip, bad stuff went around us. hope everyone's ok. Tornado started in Ashton and grew really big as it travelled thru 5 counties to the northeast.

We heard here in Ohio, that Rochelle Ill was hit with a tornado, almost everybody impacted by it. We stayed there a couple years ago for the meltdown, praying that everybody that way is ok.

 

67 year old lady killed in her home, about 8 injured, in Fairdale, Il. (pop. 200)
...every home or building damaged, many are a total loss.,...haven't heard of any other bad damage as of yet... prayers to those victims.
edit:...2 elderly women lost their lives.

 

Been there done that got the t-shirt wore it out and got another those things are bad news thoughts and prayers to all affected
