Bel Air I bought a while back. Says 39k on the speedo, but not sure as it's been painted. Still has the clear seat covers on the seats!! Factory 283/4bbl/turboglide, P/S and A/C!!! Hated to sell it, but it went to a buddy to make room for a 58 Buick Special from the original owner.

With a different front end treatment, from the firewall forward, it would have a more custom look. Still it is very creative.

R W, thanks for sharing the picture, it's not my style, but I appreciate you sharing it with us.

  5. The yellow looks too dark for the correct color, but Colonial Cream (light yellow) was a factory 58 color and it ONLY came with a green interior. It looks great when the yellow is proper.

Just picked this up. Need to find some side trim and changing the color. Looking for a wagon a long time now we have a rare one from what I can tell just trying to find parts so far.

This one belongs to a friend. He owned it years ago as a chopped drag car then sold it. A few years ago he bought it back unchopped it and completely redid it. It's a 409 w/trips, 4 spd car.

Delray with door side molding removed for police car emblem. Wonder on the engine choice, too?

That looks like the Michigan State Police emblem on the door. I would think more than likely it was a 348 car

There is just something about the sedan deliveries that interests me. ;) That is a nice looking one, too.

Yes, I don't care for those big wheels and skinny side wall tires either. I also think the Impala with the multicolored flames doesn't appeal to me either.

One of my Father's employees, back in the 60's, had an Impala with the ' air ride " suspension. When he arrived at work everything looked normal. But during the 8 hrs. it would get lower, lower and look like a low rider. He had to start it and get the air pump running to get back to normal. Pretty funny at the time.

Wow, fuel injection on the Impala convertible! I don't think I've ever noticed someone that removed the side trim like that. It certainly gives it a different look.

Now that has some lines I like but also some strange things about it like the addition on the roof? Not sure what to make of that? I wish I could see that up close in person.

Thanks for sharing the picture een if it makes you wonder what he was on when he dreamed up that paint job. I just don't get it why anyone would do that. I suppose it is to shock your senses and hopefully garner a trophy. :confused:o_O:eek::oops:

Thanks for sharing the picture, even if it doesn't exactly fit my style. The 2 door wagons are pretty cool, and very seldom see one, for some reason.
