  2. Nice ride mm289. Yeah I am super stoked on how the chop came out. The pic you posted looks like what I started with.

This was my first rendition of Lucille.

Now we are in the process of getting the new paint job laid on her.

You should consider lowering blocks instead. Much less hassle for the same look and traditional. If you do go that route measure your leaf springs before though, you probably have the 1.75" wide springs. Butch's Cool Stuff has them in that width.

  5. IMG_1744.JPG IMG_1754.JPG Brown...completely agree with you. No bags on these cars....you would have to build your own kit. I cut 1 1/2 coils out of the front and my avatar shows the car with 2" blocks in the rear from Butch's Cool Stuff as the rear leaf springs are narrow. I have since taken them out but am thinking too much rake now.

Does it have the Golden anniversary horn center, and other 50th anniv. trim on it. A upper trim level like that Polara should. Nice looking.

I can rememberwhen 64 Dodges were easy to find. I have a friend who bought a wrecked low milage 64 Golden Anniversery edition green. He also came up with a 64 Dodge wagon.
How far are you from San Antonio area?

Very nice! What's under the hood?

The finned Plymouth in the background is also interesting. What's amazing is that they could still be had with a flathead 6 motor (until 1959)!!! George Jetson on the outside, Fred Flintstone underneath! LOL.

Here are a couple of Lucille since the wheel n tire switch. Also the paint job from Hell that left me with what you see here. Picked up some slow down valves so she doesn't drop like a ton of bricks. I like the look with the 15's and the G78's. Also she rides like a dream, not as rough as it was before.

  29. I finally got her sprayed. Got a new set of headlight bezels and a couple other goodies. Can't wait to buff her out and get her striped. ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1432086670.153627.jpg ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1432086682.966597.jpg ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1432086695.129467.jpg
