My 59 IHC B110 last summer. No new paint. Just lots of rubbing compound and elbow grease. Down to the primer coat in a few spots.

Here is my "ole heap", not all that cool, not much to look at, and on the rougher side of things.
A few years back while I had my 47 Mopar Coupe, thought it would be a coold idea to have an old truck to haul trash, pick up lumber etc. I had a chassis from a 55 fargo complete with a good running gear, but nothing else, so got a cab from a 55 Dodge, doors and hood, back fenders from a 56 fargo and a box and tailgate from a 52 fargo, everything beat up, not much rust though.
So I put it all together quickly, should have slowed right down and painted frame and did more prep along the way, but she was to be an old beater truck.
Little did I know I would be forced to sell my Coupe 2 years ago, now this is all I got for now.
I intend to lower this girl down closer to the floor, this summer, she has a flathead 6 4 spd and 3.23 gears in the diff. I do plan on a tri carb intake dual exhaust, and mild cam grind in her future, this engine is a Canadian long block 250. Wish she were better but here she is... 20150328_111556_resized.jpg 20150328_111631_resized.jpg 20150328_111714_resized.jpg

Looks pretty good for a work truck. Those upgraded tires and wheels really do something for it. Most of the older trucks looked too big for their tires and wheels but this one looks like a good match.

  28. Does anyone have any photos of the Gaylord Truck? I've lost mine but think it would fit here.....Thanks....Centurion9

Thanx threenineD, she is a work truck of sorts. Kinda had the idea, of an old time, drag car pusher/hauler, or oil company service station truck.
The wheels a gracious friend gave those to me, 80s/90s Ford Explorer/Bronco, 235 75 15 tires....

Nothing wrong with that....plus, being something different, you'll get to answer the question over and over that I'm about to ask...what the hells is a Fargo? I like it....
