The top piece to this tunnel is a jr dragster body that came with the car, I made the front, sides, and rear filler panel. You can't see it in the pic but the front lip started as a 90 then i stretched it for each bend of the tunnel. The bottom pieces have lips so it all flows smooth.

Got the drivers pan laid out and roughed in as well.

Tunnel looks so much better with the paint cleaned off of the top part. You can also see my high tech template for my passenger pan in the pic as well lol.

You can tell it's going to be a real race car with that 4 speed stick coming out of the trans tunnel.

Got the falcon blasted , has plenty of rust and holes to fix, but was better than i expected
    [IMG]
made my low budget flip front end, welded the fenders together then the hood, braced everything up then used barn door hinges to make it flip ( stole the idea from gene cromers moonlighter)

One more, got pretty excited taking pics of my metal flip front. It turned out pretty light weight as well with all the bracing cut out from the hood and fenders.

Now break open the Red-White & Blue paints and give it a period style AMERICAN paint job.

Great work! Never get tired of seeing a good gasser getting built. The Jr dragster nose makes a great tunnel, very creative.

Started my body work. Welded up the holes from the side trim, ground them smooth then swiped on a little filler. Got kind of carried away and forgot to get pics as i was going. I went to school for body work and worked in a body shop for a while so i'm finally to a part where i can rock and roll for a while

got the body work pretty well roughed in and got the shell in primer. Still a few small dings to fill as well as a good bit of pitting that i hope will block out. I used a 1/2 gallon of a higher end 2k high build primer so hopefully it pays off

  25. Really starting to come together, primer makes it look a lot better. HRP

Love the build! As i'm getting ready to put in solid framerails like you did, i'm a bit behind you in progress, but i only get to work on it maybe one day every 6 months, so it may be a bit for me :) I just noticed your earlier pics- moslty the location of your pedals and the shifter mount plate. Either you're gonna move the pedals back or you're one tall sumbitch! Keep up the progress and MANY MORE PICS! -rick
