I am hoping to go next year. Just ran out of time this year and still have a lot of work to do. Put about 300 miles on it so far. It's street legal.
The engine is a 358 Roush NASCAR engine backed up with a CR1V2 4 speed manual transmission. Rear is a 9 inch full floater 389 gear. Rear truck arm suspension coil springs. Penske shocks all the way around. Front shocks are under frame work of bell cranks. That ought to fly fly with the engine in there!! Is that some kind of fuel injection hiding under the air cleaner?

Rich. Not looking for any real record. Just want to go over 200 with something built in my garage. Just like the old days.
Haven't wound it up real far yet. Fastest it's been is 135 at top of second gear.

    Hey

In this picture there is the famous Pierson
Brother coupe, but he white one in front is that Dick Pierson coupe tow/push/race/street rod?
Or is it Bobby Meeks coupe, as I read the Edelbrock: made in the USA, they both ran coupes, same era, but I've only saw Bobby Meeks's in black and white, and it appear to be very close in appears and color. And on some of the color photos I see the one-Pierson-brother coupe in colors being White with Red. Bur some pics show louvered hood and some show smooth. Is it because the look alike?
    Or?
