    Agreed, it's neat as hell, but can you imagine hacking the roof off of a 3 window today?

    Remember, There was a time roadsters were considered cooler than coupes. prob. when this was done. looks very well exacuted. wonder if it still exists.

    And Convair 340 s/n 42 Mainliner Cedar Rapids survives today - converted to turboprops and registered ZK-KFH flying freight in New Zealand.

    The other shot's in Palm Springs and it's a current one too (note the license plate on the Edsel) - I know the owner of the Studebaker; it was in very rough shape before he restored it. He's a big Stude buff and knows them in and out.

    One of the Goad family car dealerships. They sold General Motors products in Texas, the family had a remarkable run, remaining in business continuously or near-continuously from the early 1920s through at least the early 1990s in at least seven different locations.
