Can't go wrong with a 49/51 Ford.. Front chrome bumper looks much better.. Lower it a bit in the front, put some cool full wheel covers on and you're done...

Your improvements are spot on. Looks like fun! 8BA in that?

  13. Car looks good. Maybe wider wites and full discs on the front, I like the rear bumper treatment. What's that off of.

I plan on some wide whites in the future. im running 54-55 olds caps on it now. The back bumper has a 49 chevy front licence plate guard on it. I plan on smoothing out the trunklid and moving plate to the bumper.

That's a great looking car, I'm envious of your shoebox. I like it even better with the Foxcraft skirts. Visually those skirts make the back look even lower, which is a plus.
Have you got some duals and Smitty's on there? That flathead must sound good.

The ribbed skirts were ok but they were repop ones and they fit like crap. Been lookin for some good foxcrafts since i got the car. I think they are alot cleaner looking and fit so much better

I agree paint is a personal thing but never hurts to hear others ideas. Wanting for the car to look like a mid 50s mild custom like to have shiney paint but everytime i picture it in my head its still faded wore out black

Black...Just look at the picture when it is wet in your first post. Never will be trendy or dated, plus if you ever wanted to flame it you'd have the perfect base.;)

Dave, that is looking great! Perfect ride for a trip to CJ's Burger Boy or a ride up Mt. Nebo!

There is a new Dodge Challenger color called Blackberry Pearl. I saw a Challenger with that color, thought it was black until I got right up to it, very deep purple
