  3. Without seeing detailed close up pictures.....
It looks like an early "Dieterich" standard visor.

The "Dieterich" Deluxe has stainless trim across the leading edge.
The "Dieterich Standard only has stainless trim up the middle.

The stainless molding up the middle of your visor is a dead giveaway for a Dieterich.

Most Dieterich visors use stainless end caps to secure them to the drip rails.
Looks like your visor is molded to fit the drip rails so it could be a combination of parts from a few different visors.

Is it possible to get replacement parts like the center trim on these visors.
I'm looking for one for my 46 Super Deluxe Coupe.

Mother Trucker, I am Currently looking at a Fulton Visor for a 51' Buick Roadmaster from photos of the visor it looks like a 800 series. Do you know this series fits this application. The the Roadmaster is also a one-piece windsheild so i would have to fit one of these roof mounts. Would you happen to have any information on these roof mounts? Thanks

Good luck with your project. You might want to try A-an intro-see the sticky's at the top. and B: the Want Ads. An old general thread like this probably won't get you too many results.

  10. I picked up this one at a swap meet this fall. 20160924_161609.jpg @MotherTrucker Will this work on my 1947 chevy fleetline? Also what model is it.

  11. TyDavis........re your question about a visor for a 1940 Plymouth, the visor I had on my 1941 Plymouth was as a found out on this thread a Fulton 1000 series visor....1940 to 1948 Plymouth and I am reasonably sure other 40-48 Mopars all had the same size dimensions across the front windscreen..........Plymouths certainly did............I posted a few pics on this thread earlier so check them out....heres another..........regards, andyd.

Does anyone know whether all 700/800 series dog bones were made from aluminum. (Without going out to the shop to check, I'm not certain which I have.) I want to install the visor I have on a 51 F1, but have to modify the brackets slightly and my aluminum welding skills aren't that hot. The report brackets are a bit steep at $75 each!

  13. Aluminum.

TIG is the only way to weld on them with any success.

    @MotherTrucker
I have a 700 or 800 Fulton that doesn't fit my F1 due because the F1 has no split windscreen.. Can I convert it with a different Center Piece so that it would fit?
    THanks for your help

  15. The roof mount center section will work on your F1.

Yes that sure looks like an early Dieterich with the "Peckat" style end brackets to me.

Does anyone know who the manufacturer of the repo visors is? I'm just looking to get a set of steel side brackets that I can mod and do exactly like Miwi plans to do for a 51 F1.

  23. Someone requested more info. on special application dog bone brackets for the Fulton 700 & 800 series visors.

The Fulton 800 series EE brackets were used on hardtop cars
{without drip rails on the body}.

These brackets do not mount on the inner door jamb.
They mount directly to the upper windshield pillars.

When I was a kid I thought those visors looked cool but I learned they have no place in the traditional hotrod world. They are for lowriders and garbage wagons

Oh man...this bumped just in time. My sister-in-law's grandfather gave me a really nice visor that he took off his '51 Ford some 50+ years ago. I get it tonight. Pics to follow this evening.

Here's what I have. I'd love to have a set of instructions. @MotherTrucker
And yes...it's just sitting on there, in the rain gutters.
