    That plant appears to be the Detroit Tank Arsenal on Van Dyke, just north of 11 mile rd. in Warren Michigan just north of Detroit.

    i love the photos of hampton, n.h. , my father managed the casino from 1928 to 1936 and my
    uncle owned a diner on rt. 1 just up from the center. thanks, maggie

    Swi66, some of your picture look like the lobby at the ACD building in Auburn, Ind. Do you know if that is where they are from?

  24. This was always the best day of the year. On the way to school, I had to walk past every dealership except Ford. On the way home, I stopped in each one and collected every brochure I could. I still remember the smell. That was when 6th graders could walk without supervision more than just to the end of the driveway.
