    Or this: http://www.hotrod.com/events/coverage/custom1950-studebaker-woody-with-esdel-power-at-sema-2013/

Quite a few different rear end treatments shown in this article, although only a couple could be called fastbacks: http://blog.hemmings.com/index.php/...ore-the-new-wore-off/#PhotoSwipe1424658739265

That definitely works as a roadster.

I don't know the proper way to ask this. I'm sure that it takes quite a bit of effort to Photo Chop a car without the added details I want to see. I have a 1937 Chevy 2 door sedan. My plan is to chop it about 3". I want to change the 'B' pillar to the slanted coupe style. The roof can be slightly raked or not. Windshield, the same. Possibly, using the rear portion of the coupe roof to give a little more slope. I have attached several photos of coupes and sedans. H $(KGrHqRHJCoFJC+3FC!7BS(tq8zIFQ~~60_57.jpg $T2eC16hHJFsFFR764bg2BS(tqjOpFg~~60_57.jpg 01.jpg 05.jpg Coupe Left Side.jpg Coupe Right Side.jpg Salmon Sedan.jpg Sedan Right Side.jpg ad a hard time finding direct side views, and of course, they are not in the same scale. I'm not particular about color (yet) so you can play as you see fit. I think I may want a darker color but not sure of this now. If anyone would like this challenge, I would really appreciate it. This car has only 45,000 miles on it and I don't want to ruin it.
    Thanx,
    Bruce

You should have left the trunk off completely and shortened the roof to make it a slantback. My opinion, others may not agree.

Wow, you guys are fast. I like all of them, but what I had in mind was most like Madfish's green version. As much as I like the slant back, not this time. Maybe just a touch more chop and maybe slightly more in the front than back. I am more convinced than ever that the slanted 'B' pillar is the way to go.

    Thanx,

All he needs is a 3D printer capeable of extruding metal, and you will have your dream car. Is this what our hobby is coming to?

  22. I distinctly heard him say "swoopy."

Or was it "slope?" I wanted to give you back the chrome bits so it wasn't so '80s, but I gotta get to real work. And as for the 'Vette caps...this IS the HAMB after all!

The real one will have the chrome bits and probably moon discs. The slope of the top is just about right. I might consider converting it to a slant back after seeing this.

When I decide to build something, I usually have a firm idea of exactly what I want it to look like, but on this one I can't decide on color(s) and I change my damn mind almost every other day.

How about some color ideas on this mock up photo - wheels, top and body? And maybe two colors on the body with a design like would have been on a late 20's early 30's hop up? photoshop banger image001.jpg
