  2. Looks like maybe Randy Winkle had some spare paint after he painted the Dokie Oker?

So... my take over the world fuel system has come in and it looks all racey car kind of stuff - but it looks too modern. All this purple, blue and red anodized, steel braid and AN fittings. May have to invest in some black braid or wrap it all with hockey tape (Hockey tape being the official Canadian condom and all...)

On the other hand if it keeps the fuel pressure where it should be as barrel roll through the lights (on fire of course) I guess I can put up with it. Now all I have do is dig the "plow truck" out of the snow encrusted deep freeze I call a garage and actually do something.... Really regretting storing the little beast at home instead of the shop. (Stupid winter, stupid 2nd project... stupid...stupid... stupid... grumble grumble)

  8. Hahaha! That's awesome! Can I use that line? Really stoked to get the Shocker back from the cage guy today. It might be a little over built but ..... better than under built "as I barrel roll through the lights ....."

  9. Well when I got my brand new perfectly polished blower drive for the dragster last year... I sandblasted it so it would look 'right' on the car... LOL

Stopped by my friend Jay today in manitowoc.
He is ( Just Falcon Around ) putting a transbrake in the Samoco Ford Falcon, for the 2015
    Meltdown Drags.

I am proud of him ( He is slowly switching from the dark side ) working on his 56 Chevy project.
He has been making the one pc fiberglass front flip, and fitting the doors this week.

Nope...your constant de-constructive criticism (read BADGERING) has made me rule out Cragars and Keystones because of weight. Thanks buddy.:D

Saw an article in hot rod magazine where they bead blasted all the AN fittings on a fuel system so it didn't look so "new". I thought it looked alright.

Picked up a 67 K-member from AJ last weekend and this weekend cleaned it up and put it in. It looks like it should work with the different motor mounts going to stuff engine in next week and we shall see.
