Loving this thread, amazing ingenuity, can't wait to see each update!

 

I couldn't wait to see where this went. Had to go from page 1 to the end. Now I'll go back and do it properly...

I wonder, can you ever get rid of that Oil/Exhaust smell that is particular to VW'S though?

As has been mentioned, it would be cool to see the process of the soldering and making of the detailing bits, and looking forward to all updates. JW

 

This is great stuff! I made a fenderless roadster out of a VW years ago, but nothing as complex as this. Simply amazing work!

Not sure how I missed this.... this is insane!

 

Make sure you use steel wool. Progress is fantastic as usual. Having trouble viewing the pics; I tap on one and they run through the whole batch so I only see the last one.

 

A few people have had trouble viewing the pics, I've tried loading them in different ways, not sure what else I can do.

 

I can see all of the pics in posts 609 and 615.

Just read through the whole thread. Very impressive and inspirational.
