    Overhead light is a 1953 Ford PU with LEDA bulbs......bar is a 53 bed

    Thats awesome, Just built my first CBG and my son said Dad lets build one out of a hub cap. Got to show him this one and get building.

    Cool, I started with a three string fretless cookie tin build in March of 2012. Done some CBGs, canjos, diddley bows and now the hubcap which was build #21. Fun hobby and every one is different.

    Not sure if the attachment is working trying to add via the app.

    Built a 3 string fretless, burnt fret marks in with a soldering iron.

    This is as built been tweaking since. Just swapped out the bridge for an eye bolt to lower the strings a little and spaced out the top and bottom strings closer to the edge of the neck.

    Currently tuned in open F, working on Folsom Prison Blues.

    Looks good to me. Here are my two favorite builds so far and one I built for Rocky who puts on the Eagle Field Drags.

    Bought the salvage rights to this 36 REO for $80. Made a floor reo4.jpg g1.jpg g3.jpg stand and wired with candelabra chandelier sockets.

    a few left over parts, a louvered panel, and a clock face stamped "made in occupied Japan" and I have a new wall clock.

    Did a similar one with an old 409 Valve cover. The old style donor lamps are getting harder to find.
    Love the pinstriping. I really need to get some on my lamp.
