image.jpg Traded a wagon I was going to scrap for this 350, a 68 396 block, a Saginaw 4 speed, a new Hayes clutch and a Hurst Competition Shifter. He says the motor is fairly fresh. Has roller rockers and he said it has some Crane heads on it. Haven't had a chance to look it over real close yet though. The double humps look good enough to me but want to check out the casting number this weekend. Is there some way to tell the crane heads from regular chevy heads? image.jpg

He said the guy he got it from built it for his GF or something. Didn't really care.....color change is easy.

What a coincidence, I just bought a pink engine last weekend. Must be going around.

I painted a 302 Ford purple for my sister once. It was a stock engine, but eventually that purple block went 11s in another car.

It had a 327/turbo 400 and, according to the protecto plate, a 2:73 posi 10 bolt.

Looks like Hello Kitty is still popular among engine builders.

Thanks squirrel.....well I didn't notice any crane stamp on the ends but I didn't really have time to look. But those exhaust ports do look pretty round.
