  2. That was pretty simple, but given my age, it was about like identifying my family.

I got a 79%, which isn't that bad since I wasn't born until 74. Thanks for the test, it was fun.

lots of fun. i was born in 1948, so i remember when they were new.

  5. I got 100% different test then the last time, cool.

I should throw this out there as a disclaimer, other then the '56Chebby I have owned at least one of each of the cars in the test. Some of them were not as complete as the cars mentioned but still I guess I had an edge.

    Pretty cool. I got 96%. Would've been 100% if I hadn't mixed up the Willys & the Henry J.

I also ,mixed up the Willys and Henry J, also 96% hahaha, looks lika a common problem

  12. I had to guess at a hood ornament and got a 100% there were some gimmies though. the '54 chev, '51 Merc among others. AGE has a lot to do with it.

100%, now if I had to do the 80s or 90s I'm sure I'd fail miserably, but who cares?

Born in '71, 100% the '52/54 Mercs almost tricked me, as did the Henry J (I don't know if I've ever seen one with a front bumper, haha)

  20. The wife and I actually took a reckoning one night when we were without electricity and the overwhelming majority of the cars I have owned in my life were built between '53 and '68 most of those being between '54 and '64. I suppose it is nothing to really be proud of, it never had anything to do with being cool.

It did make the test a little easier for me then most.

By the way for you guys in the gasser crowd, those Willys Aero coupes at one time were cheap as dirt and popular with the low buck gas class crowd.

  21. 100%, although the '55 Chryslers/Desotos made me think. The Willys was easy; the Avon lady that used to come to my parents house drove one, in fact it was the only one I ever saw that was actually running... LOL.

  22. You got 96% (46 right out of 48). The average score is 73%.

Seems I don't know the difference in a Dodge Cornet and a De Soto Fire Dome. HRP

    Damn........am ashamed that I didn't recognize a '54 Merc. But 47 out of 48 ain't bad or a 70 something.

Aced it. But, those '52 & '54 Mercs, & the MoPars had me scratchin' my head for a second. If it wasn't multiple choice, probably would have had a different score!
