Vintage shots from days gone by!

    It's still going strong - they've been incredibly community oriented since day one, my sister has our milk box that sat by the front door for our home deliveries, and I think I still have one of the old brown milk bottles somewhere. We always went before Christmas and went through the "Dairyville" to see the animals. Some of the model train groups set up a huge display there once or twice during the year, pretty amazing. And they still have cows pastured there even though neighborhoods have grown up around it.

    There were a ton of dairy's in the area way back in the day, but Alpenrose is pretty much the only one left in SW Portland.
