Art & Inspiration >>>>> 30/1/15 FRIDAY ART SHOW <<<<<

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by Spoggie, Jan 30, 2015.

  1. Never ever be embarrassed!
It's only by posting and learning, coupled with inspiration that we grow and develop our skills.
Some are fortunate to have been gifted with stellar ability, some of us (like me) slog away at it and are constantly in awe at the skills that many have that frequent these pages.
Whether it be drawing; painting, metal sculpting, we all have that certain "drive and passion" that takes us thru the pain barrier and produces what we see, here on this forum.
Never give up and always be prepared to raise your own bar!
    Cheers,
    David

I know how you feel LPRS- I'm pretty intimidated by all the talent here as well, but I've also learned that talent nurtures talent, and I've found that most of the masters are willing to impart their knowledge when asked.

Cool drawing! I can't draw fer shit... yet! It's good to see your work here on the HAMB. What'll ya bring next week?

  18. All about the love of the craft. Everyone is at a different level with their work and not one of us is ever through growing. I like the coffin concept and vantage point, thanks for posting it.

  21. ^ This is the gospel truth, I've reached out to several of these guys and everyone has come back with almost instant answers and explained their techniques. Been my experience that the guys that are confident in their skills are more than willing to pass/give advise and encouragement. No one figures it all on their own no matter the task we take bits and pieces from others and develop our own way.
