I think there should be something else to fit this besides a 73 .. thanks anyway

  5. Probably just about any Ford master cylinder or booster will work with a little fabrication. HRP

Thanks for the napa quote .....thats a good price, I thought a later year would fit and be
easier to find but I can pick this one tomorrow, thanks

Having hand built my own brake pedal, working out stroke on master cylinder, pedal length, pivot length, mounting positions etc, believe me stick with what is known to work, ie all from one car, or be prepared for a bit of maths and fabrication......

I am going to have to agree with the others.

Your best bet is a '73 Mustang master cylinder and booster.

Don't go cheap on your brakes.

Do you have drum-drum or disc-drum and is the napa unit compatible with what you have

I still have the original drum brakes, I just want to change to power
and mount it on the firewall with this mustang pedal I found at a swap
meet, the pedal comes down on the right side of the column so I`m
hoping it won`t be to close if I mount it right over the steering column

  15. If the pedal came with all the brackets to mount it and now you have a master and booster that goes with it, it should work well for you.
