Many beautiful builds, my favorite three were the black '32 Roadster with the Riley overhead built by Custom Auto, Casney's '29 Roadster that is a perfect A on '32 frame, and the Norm Garbowski's T redone back to the first incarnation. Many other great builds and some very weird attempts to reinvent the hot rod. Strangest being the '37 Lincoln with the two grills.

  19. It cannot compete for the Ridler now that it has been at this show. One of their rules is a car or any unique component of the car cannot be shown at any other car show to be eligible. Maybe they are going to try for the AMBR award?

I was there, I thumped it. It is 99% Packard. The door skins are new and the vents in the side of the hood. I too was amazed at the shine on the metal, Troy said many hours with 400 grit and you too can make steel look like that.

Went to the G.N. Show over the weekend. For a show that was advertised as a roadster show, the coupes and sedans and low riders sure out numbered the roadsters. Don't get me wrong, all the cars on show were beautiful. I just wish there had of been more roadsters there to look at.
