Ratty that's my 46 pulling into the last Pileup. A lot has happened to that car since then, but I am having resizing issues so I can't load a current photo.

  6. For some reason I can send a pic in a pm. So from point A to point B Di that get bigger or smaller by 4.25 inches? ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1421819256.006511.jpg

  7. That stayed the same, give or take a hair in or out. The previous guy had it right. When we cut the 5 from the rear of the roof the roof moved forward, so we had to cut and move that rear section of the roof back 4.25". We had talked about adding some length overall to the roof "moving the rear window further back towards the rear end"or B on your picture but didn't need to do it since it looked good when we got to that point. I thought we would have to do the whole moving the rear window further back because the top on these 3windows is on the smaller side but it really came out kick ass without it.
I'll go to the shop and try to get some pics for you. Hope this helps..... Man my thumbs are tired. Doing this from my phone. Lol

Ratty, I coaxed my computer into posting a current pic of my 46. I also put it in a new thread at the top of Traditional Customs. IMG_2213.JPG

  12. Here's my 3 window Dodge that we were chopping and we have finally got her all finished up in primer. I think it came out awesome and I am glad I went ahead and said f@&k it and did the chop. All I heard was if you chop it's not gonna look right, well if it's not right I guess I like wrong! Ok guys newbie on topics but have been reading for sometime. Ok I have a 50 chrysler Windsor and won't to bag it in a budget lol like everyone else. So is there good kit to start with. The rear is a know brainier but the front has me scratching my head. Sorry this off topic but seems like home for this. Lil bit of photo shop but kinda what I'm going for. 15. We are planning on shooting her in a green suede for this show season, not a rush job but nice. Then we will see what I'm feeling like for the big fancy paint job. Who knows maybe I like it green suede and keep it. Never know for sure. I'm thinking like Sledge's 40 Merc ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1422824293.006335.jpg

I'm not one for Fancy paint so I'm on the fence as of now. So for sure it will be suede green next.

  16. I like his latest version as shown in the recent Rodder's Journal:

  17. Nice Chrysler man. Working with a budget is all I have ever known. Lucky for me I got a lot of friends in the car game that don't mind helping and giving their time. Just find out what it is you need and start pricing and asking around, you will run into the right deal eventually. Don't rush it, looks like you have an awesome start for a project. I would save my coin and start trying to find out as much on the air ride that you are searching for and when it's right go ahead with it, but til then I would be driving the snot out of that car as is.
Also I have seen those chopped the right way and they are a kick ass kustom.
    Good luck man

  18. That is about as sweet a kustom as there is in my eyes. Also that paint is spot on. Not too much but just enough. It doesn't take away from the car. I think sometimes we get carried away with throwing things on our cars and in the end it takes away from the overall lines of the car. I try to remind myself of that all the time.
