How to get an A sitting on an A frame low....put the front spring behind axle, mounted off split wishbones......Rolling Bones style!

  14. The above nails something a lot of people seem to not worry about and that is fitting the tires to the wheel wells. The only thing i think that would make it better would be an original grill shell, instead of the shaved 32. I guess it goes with the one piece (stretched?) hood.

Just FYI, Model A Tudor doors aren't longer they're taller. To use a stock Tudor or pick-up door on stock coupe you have to chop it 1".

I don't recall hearing that body was stretched.... you sure about that?

Sedan doors are longer, I do not believe (not sure) that there is any difference on height (30/31) 28/29 is taller then 30/31 though. I believe windshield frames interchange from sedan and coupe..
coupe door is 26 7/8" long,
    a roadster is 23 7/64" long,
and tudor sedan is 28 1/2" long.

As I remember reading, the bottom of the body was toast. When rebuilding the bottom of the body, extra metal was added to make the body taller, and I thought the Tudor doors were added and the roof and sills lengthened to accommodate the longer Tudor doors. Whatever, it sure has the "look".

the blue one would be my preference ,as to me the 32 rails finish it off better, and the blue is refreshing.

  25. Clem, they are both really nice in different ways but the red one isn't as busy and i dislike Moon tanks on street cars, they look wrong IMO. JW
