    Looks like a 1934 Studebaker.

Looks like Red Reigle all crossed up with Branson going by low and Larson high.

The 77 was Pat Flaherty. That picture of him hitting the wall was used as an ad with Pat saying it was his closest shave. Ad was for shaving cream.

Was the photo of the Estes car with Rigsby (and Phillips and Watson) in it that you posted earlier also taken the same day? Thanks.

Fantastic vintage color photo of a 1958 Desoto Firemite gas powered promotional car in a parade. Looks like they might be following a gun barrel? Howitzer? 1957 Dodge 4 door hardtop and a 57 Oldsmobile (Pink) convertible in the background. I collect the Desoto Firemites and vintage images of them!
If anyone can identify the town that this photo was taken $10 to their Paypal account. Must show proof not just guess! vintage color.jpg

No, I believe the first pic (right side view) was taken in June at Winchester.

It just occurred to me that within the next year and a half all three were killed in sprint cars.

And that was the beginning of the end for sprint cars being the stepping stone for championship & Indy car careers. I grew up in the Midwest & was lucky to see most of the drivers of that era on the banks at Winchester & Dayton. They were daredevils in a way & paid the ultimate price way to often.
