Sorry I havent been on here for awhile, Its been a Hectic winter already. Great shot of The Sachs and Sons Marauder, Wish it was bigger. Found out that Jerry Jardine raced that car also Fill in from time to time. Appartely Tom was one of Jerrys Employees at the time. Would love to find more pics of it.[IMG]

Ken some Great posts, long time no hear, miss having Steve and Dale post also! Got mine re-painted finally, different painter this time. 90% of trim on, will finish with headliner install, lexan cut and sanded to size, carbs built not complete on power yet, wiring close just got Battery today XS., holding on brake lines and Master until engine in place and know available space, bumper brackets on and grill area fitted and ready for installation after power installed. Fuel pump. filters and lines installed to firewall. Getting close, by spring I;ll do build thread covering last 7.5 years. Later don't be such a stranger.

Ken your new FE done and home yet?...............Al

Al;if you plan on racing at NHRA tracks [NoHotRodsAllowed] ,make sure your regulator is NOT attached to the firewall!! Sounds like the new painter did a good job for you!Dale's 64 Comet is still in England, not sure what Steve is up to! I am supposed to get my heads back next week!! ROY.

Thanks for the tip Roy, I'm thinking mounting near or at front engine plate. Would hate to have my car that far from home. I'm sure Steve is up to some performance gains of some kind!:) Glad your heads are about done, did they shave for some xtra compression?........Al

Al;just a cleanup shave! I do not have any room to bring the head CC down, pistons are at "O" deck now and compression is 13.85 already,60cc chamber.About the only thing used are the heads, everything was used up,had to be replaced! I should have them back Monday or Tuesday! How is your Comet coming along, sounds like you got a good painter this time! ROY.

I did!, this guy can paint and at least it is all one color. Although to give credit where it's do, my 1st guy did great just left it 3 colors. I really am getting things done but not that show, you all know how that is, I walk in garage and it looks the same. I'm thinking any day now it will go get the headliner and carpet cut and edged but waiting on the call to say bring, trailer is in front of door ready! Hoping my engine is done soon need to get it installed as to intall brakes. No pictures I wanna post until complete or at Autorama if I make it......Al

Ken you went through my whole photo album, the only thing I can show you is with engine installed. It was nice sitting with you and Jody at the T-Bolt Reunion that night, we covered a bunch of Comet and FE ground.....Al

My buddy Paul alias"Top Fuel" got rear side glass in frames today, will finish door glass and vents this week! I cut and sanded to size, he owns glass company and thick rubber tape to install with. I used 3/16 which is same as Mike used in his Falcon. Frames are re-chromed and top rail"stainless" polished, I will install rubber seals at installation.........Al
