thanx guys , havent been on here too much lately and just getting these responses . my initial plan was to refine this car after the event and make it nice and straight and shiny and blah blah this thing is just too cool as is and i will be doing very little to change it ! lights and a top i think is all i will do !

You may have mentioned this in the thread, so I may have missed it. Is that frame pinched in the cowl area at all from stock '32 dimensions? I like the look.

I saw it at TROG this year. Its a killer machine.

Cool to put a face to the name. Wish we would have crossed paths at TROG this year.

 

it is pinched , front and rear . we actually took a few frames to make this one so we had rails just laying there without K member or cross members and i vise gripped the rails under the body and measured things up to get lengths for front and rear A model cross members and tacked em in at the 106" wheel base . so it is actually completely pinched the whole length . worked out very well actually .

 

i saw you a few times and meant to catch up with ya but there is never enough time ! lots of time flies by chatting with new and old friends . it was great to see your coupe for real , its as nice as i imagined it to be !

 

Love your roadster . It sounds wicked. Wish we would have raced this year but I never got the chance to line up with you. Hopefully we can line up next year on the beach.
