Midwest gassers?

  1. Does anyone know if the midwest gassers are still around? There website is up for sale.

    we are loud and proud, but the website is still a work in progress...and that pisses me off.

    gassers are coming back, hell I just bought one !

  9. Hi guys my names Dave but the call me Falcon I was one of the three founding members of MIDWESTGASSERS. Had to loose the car a while back but shop is up and running building straight axle cars just minutes away from great lakes dragaway

    Dominic "Dyno Dom" Blasco
    He has the "Vintage Speed" Willys amongst other cars
    Mike Etzcorn (might be spelled wrong)
    He was running an original Belvidere F/X car with a Grumpy Jenkins 427 until it blew
    Dom later became part owner of Great Lakes Dragaway and has since moved to Texas if my info is right.
    I was running a 63 purple falcon at the time straight Axle, tubs, full tube frame

    Dave....you answered CORRECTLY! It was a test.

    I know both gentleman very well. I communicate with them frequently.

    Dom currently owns Dyno Dom's Raceway in Sikeston, MO. Mike is in CA. See him at Pomona Swap Meet.

    We founded midwestgassers in 2004
     
  14. Miss those guys and the rest of the members
    Went out of circulation after my divorce and loosing the car
    Don't have a car now but never stopped working on them
    Currently building a 67 Chevelle that is going to have a straight axle slight narrow rear full tube frame tilt front
     
  15. Moved back into the area two years ago
    Just north of Great Lakes Dragaway
    Trying to reestablish contacts
    Looking forward to seeing everyone in spring
