Looks real clean nice work. Don't understand is it 4 1/4 or a 5" chop?

Thanks for clearing that up for me. I'm looking to chop mine 4-5", keep going back and forth. I still have 2-3 months of work before I chop it. Complete the Frame, channel it 4", sub floor and floor then I'll chop it. Right now I say 5".

Somewhere around 4"-5" does appear to be the sweet point.

This is mine with 4 1/2"

Have you worked on the front window frame? If so can you tell me the measurement in the middle (center) of the frame inside edge to inside edge. My goal is 7-7 1/4". That will be a determine how much I will chop it. My A is a 31. Thanks

It's looking like 6 3/4. You may won't to go 4 1/2 if your goal for is 7 inches. Good luck brother

Thanks for the effort, I think I will go 4 1/2" that's what I'm looking for. Still a few months away. Looking forward to your build, your off to a great start!

  20. I think 5 looks good, more than that and it starts to look too cartoon-like. 4-5 does seem to be a good amount for A coupes.

  21. Mine is 5", wouldn't want any more.

Looks really good man. Perfect actually. I did mine 5" too and I think that's the best looking chop for a 30/31. You nailed it.

  28. Great looking car,I like them chopped but I have had my share of chopped tops and being over 6 foot tall it does make seeing stop lights a problem. :D HRP
