Probably already in the posting someplace but the 60's was pretty simple so I would go with...
Drumyn's Hot Rods, or something like Drumyn's Rod Shop

Milner's Motors ----- a hip reference for those who want to take it, but also obviously automotive

    Falfa's Auto Repair --see above

Reliable Hot Rods --- a bit of a contradiction/paradox, but I always like the word Reliable.

  5. I'd send my kid ! Lol he could always have Bill Cosby smiling back at you.......

I'll take Fred Fukn' Sanford any day.

  6. Pampered poodle rod shop has a certain kind of ring to it

  7. Kool Kar Kustoms... or maybe not... lol

I am a fan of something simple, and something you never go tired of. Your last name followed by rod shop will never be outgrown, so consider it...

I like your Avatars. I like the Idea too. If I lived closer I'd give you some of the parts I got laying around. Guys like you who took the time to pass on your knowledge are the reason I am at the place I am now.

I just made a few serial number tags to screw on to the firewall for each car we build. The shop doors opened and we just bought our first project.

I'm sure its been used, but "Shade Tree Mechanics". Or maybe Second Chance Automotive. If it is a place for the kids to learn a trade, how about, " The Learning Curve Auto Shop"
    Good luck on your venture.
