I was focused on that cowl brace looking piece – triangulation for some sort of cowl steering hoop? Then as soon as I heard the guy's accent it fell into place! Neat car – how could you get tired of this?
I love it. It could be Mandarin Maroon. It could be Washington Blue. It could be Folkstone Grey. I would still love it, but Black sure does it sweet justice.
If they all look the same you aren't taking time to study them one by one. It's like different family members deciding to use grandma's turkey dressing recipe. They start out with almost the same stuff and it looks almost the same but it never turns out exactly like grandma's did because each one adds their own touch. I'll still take the looks like the other 20 just like it rather than show up with a brand new build with what were the latest tricky slicky pieces six month ago when I bought them only to see that my six month old "trick of the week" wheels are already outdated and the paint is so "last year" and dated already.
Damn nice car, and it appears to have started much like mine, from a Brookville Roadster body? We parted ways on a few things, mainly the driveline and I have WWW tires, red wheels, and outside headers, but the concept is the same, and I never feel like mine or any others that I see are copycats. There are always differences to be found. They are the quintessence of hot rods, IMO
I know there are things other than trucks, and colors other than black, just most days, I can't figure out why. That car is beautiful.
Haha they all look the same !!! Where have we heard that before. Some guys can look at the same woman for 1/2 a century or more and every single time he does she still takes his breath away.
He wasn't. Nothing is more pure, beautiful, or artistic that a hot rod from the 'golden years' (1940's). Anyone can order and bolt-on crap out of a catalog...it takes a special kind of (demented) soul to spend years looking for those obsolescent, period-perfect gems from the past. That's what traditional hot-rodding is about, and that's why we speak of "spreading the gospel". Repent and believe, my brethren! Judgment day is a comin'.
What a beautiful build. Didn't understand a thing he said but that car spoke the necessary language. A Piece of art.
Send your prayer requests with money please !! Some of these preachers are lucky to live that second line in post sir. Easier for us in the back pews to see the sermon....and keep praying ourselves. Well done always. Hope I make it to savior myself. Pretty cool seats back here regardless. Thanks to all of course !
Great analogy , sir.The gentleman who is tired of the look should move on,preferably to the billet crowd at the local Goodguys show.Me,I'll stay here.I like Grandma's HAMB recipe just fine
See,without the use of a emoticon sarcasm falls short of the target! Larry, after your BOBOB 3 window you are the head cheerleader. HRP
