Glass and trim going back in. Taking forever.
    A lot More to do

    Polishing stainless as i go.

Side glass is plexi for mockup. (I'll cut plate later)

they go up and down. Flippers work too.

huge undertaking considering it was a sedan to hdtp conversion.

    Again details driving me nuts

Thanks for the words of encouragement guys.

Its been two months since last post. I feel obligated to share.
    Unfortunately not much has happened.
    Just some little things
    Installing Mirrors polishing, some trim,
Got lucky and found another rear glass to replace the 46 Pontiac on evilbay that got got scratches and pitting from welding.
Im also Stuck on mounting the rear beltline trim. looking into some different fasteners.

Fire kind of went out when
Life got busy again... long story. but family first.

I try to grab some new pics soon.

I have trying to get to this
Been knocking a few ideas around.
Finally committed to clear plexi in the outer teeth.

first round, just mocked up here
Still need to build a bulb housing.
Also think that the lenses should be longer towards the bottom.
    What do you guys think?

I'd agree about making them longer for the sake of visibility (safety). Otherwise they look sharp!

A lot of trial and error to bend and mold the polycarbonate sheet.
I found that 15 minutes at 325 in the oven on foil and a cookie sheet gave me about a minute of work time.
Any longer and it would bubble or discolor.
    Heres a pile of fails.

Bent the hot plastic with hand seamers. Then
Put a curve in by hand

Made another set for a longer opening
Hand sanded the details with 220 all the way to 3000.
just by luck it worked out they have a snap in fit.
    Now just have to polish.
