One of the best and informative buid reads to date.i am building a 41 Chevy and have added many of mods that my friend questions.after reading your build and finishing technicqs I am on track thanks and keep it coming. You are truly a master at what you are doing.

  17. Thanks. Good luck on the chevy.

  18. After spending all week finishing inner fender lip's, rear inner fender's, etc. I took the trunk lid back off and primed the underside and the lip and trough. The small flaws and areas that will probably never be seen are coming togeather. Hopefully I can finish to the point of being ready for a final light coat of urethane fill this week. Then thanksgiving weekend she can be wet sanded with 320.
Today I finished pulling the driveline and torque tube apart. I had a couple helpers inspecting my work. After sanding the powder off I took the tube and shaft to Brian ( aka Hot Rod Packard ) to machine and install the overdrive in the torque tube. Hopefully I can get the rear end back in before I am ready to set the body back on the frame. If all goes well I should have her in paint before Christmas.

  19. Thanks Ryan and Vern for the compliments.

Holy smoke! What an amazing build kippers 34! I love it. It reminds me a lot about an old Wilmington custom that Howard Gribble just "discovered"; Frank Sandoval's 1936 Ford:

What grille are you using? 1939 Nash?
Narrowed running boards would have been tits on this one...like Bud Unger did on my all time favorite '36 ;)

I look forward to follow this build! What color have you planned for it?
