It does look like it, but I thought that one had a more complete hood?

Nice place! Funny how those 55-56 Merc wagons never seem to have tailights.......

Just a thaught(I don't have many). Why is it, that when a building reaches a certain age we declair it historical, and can't tear it down, But when a car reaches a certain age, we are so quick to destroy it???????? STOP CRUSHING

  11. Still ?? Wow, I have seen pictures of it hanging haphazardly before....I can't believe it's still alive in this day and age.

  12. The owner of this car must be one of those patina freaks. This is a "Running and Rotting" not "Sitting and Rotting" Model A sedan I've seen running around several times for over a year now. It was actually parked this time so I managed to take some pics of it.

It's one of my favorite pictures I've taken. The old KB is pretty interesting, the bed sides are diamond plate and look original to the truck. I've never seen those before.

  17. Looks like it's in a creek bed. Maybe the carburetor got flooded....:D

Story is, that it was built and raced by the owners father, in that shop. the shop still builds vehicles, but of the 4x4 type. we (Junk Drivers C.C.) own the vintage Texaco station next door.

  19. Amazing.......I've seen an older picture seemingly forever ago. Anyone want to stand beneath it in a wind storm ? Yikes, huh ? Surprised it still exists as such......thanks for the answer.

On my dad's property in Nevada desert. I've been trying to figure out how to get it out of the wash. No tow trucks could get to it. I could get there in my diesel pickup, but how to get it off the ground and out to a flatbed.....

These are cars I saved and passed on except for the Z28. I had the deal done and called to close it and get the car and they guy had died the night before. The guy was a good car guy too. Don't know where the Z28 went.
