Building a '51 Ford 2 door coupe Custom, chopped, sectioned and bagged.I know it is a personal thing, but I am trying to decide what width whitewalls to use. I can get 2 3/4"....3 1/4"...or 3 5/8" widths. Any recomendations? I plan at this time to use a full diameter hubcap.

  2. Like you said,it's up to the individual.

You will get all kinds of opinions and I'm sure someone will say whitewalls are overdone. HRP

2 3/4". The wider ones look too '40s, and the style of car you're building says '50s.

    I agree with 50Fraud - 2¾"

  5. 2-3/4" looks the best with 6.70 x 15 or 205R70-15
