I'm in the process of building a Huckster van using '29 A sheet metal and a 1931 A frame. Power is a 1.8 SOHC Courier engine with a ZF four speed. This is definitely a measure twice, cut once job as a 4x8 sheet of 3/4" mahogany is running $129.00 each!

  4. forgot to post the other one I worked on........never made it to a driver stage as the own didn't want to spend the money.

****note the gas prices in the background, it was about 1997****

It's an LS series out of a 2002 Chevy truck. Ed of Eddie's Chop Shop (a HAMBer) did the intake to use 6 rochesters for the air (throttle bodies).

Got the Zephyr on the road in April 2011 and did 4500 miles driving all over the countryside. The car drew a crowd everywhere I went with it.

Finished woodie #1 in 2012 and sold her at Mecum auction in Monterey August this year. Woodie #2 (not so much a HAMB type project) is well underway. #2 is a 50 Ford using Art Morrison chassis, 2011 Camaro SS engine & trans, and 64 Thunderbird interior. Here's a pic of the completed woodie #1.
