  1. I ran across this car (and maybe pickup too) in the back of some guys house. Can anybody identify the car? Thanks. dsc00734.jpg dsc00735.jpg

  3. Yep as above, '28 - '29 Model A sport coupe. I would love to have one of those..

And that truck too.. i'd love one of them as well.

  4. Or 29 business coupe. If so it is pretty rare.

Nice find, now just to get it into your yard.

  9. Thought the sport coupe had the oval side glass? The pu has torsion bar front suspension. Be prepared to replace the whole thing. Parts are terrible expensive.

Yes it does, as do all 60-62 Chevy half tons and up, including the medium duties, except the 4X4s.

Everything is a "barn find" or "r--rod". I suppose the truck is kind of under a form of shelter/barn?

If it was a barn find,, it would still have some paint on it from being indoors the last
60 years, better yet it may have had the top and quarter windows. At least it's a good
start, if you have the time and resources ,get with the project and have at it.

I would say it was never in a barn. It has been somewhere dryer. But it looks like the typical Texas car that sat outside. And the sun baked all the paint off of it. I would get out there and try to buy it.

90% of all HAMB Users can pic an model from most any cars in the.
    About 40% would'nt know a 28 from a 29.
    I know I dont.
    I know 1928-1931 is a Model A.
    I know a 28-29 from 30-31. I Know a 32 is eighter a B model or a V8.
    But I won't know a 28 from a 29. I dont know a 30 from a 31.

But from a fare with one eye shut, and hands behind my back, i can spot ab A-bone.

But from what I see here I can't see if at was a sports coupe or a business coupe.
I can see it aint a Roadster, it aint a std. Coupe, it aint a Deluxe coupe, it aint a tudor, despite it has two dors. :D

I'm pretty shure it aint a cabriolet, because of whats left of a fixed roof bow and that big triangulation support bracket. Since I can't see any of the bows (from the folding top), and because of the cowl, I'm gonna go with business or sports coupe, 1928 or 1929.

But feel free to correct me if om wrong!!!
I would actualy appreciat it if you did!

I think that's Little Boy in the bushes next the Model A, which is strange. I thought they dropped it on Japan.

I stand corrected. I checked and you're right. I never knew Chevy had used a torsion bar suspension on their trucks back then

  28. I noticed that big old propane tank too.I dont think I would be parking my cars next to it but I shouldn't talk .I have a 500 gallon one just down a bit from my cabin. lol.Bruce.
