^^ Your car and build it for you.

I would love to see it solid maroon or a deep dark purple........

Yea on the other hand it will take forever to peel off all the ring bits of vynil to make the custom lace look good. Lead me away from what I was after. Keepin it 50's/60's so will figure something out. Got the new hubcaps today ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1405071786.306228.jpg and also found a factory twin 4 409 409hp in the country. So hopefully can scratch up some penny's to throw that in

Lots of work in there ! Looks cool, and I would leave the grille just as it is...looks perfect, as do the taillights.
Good luck with finishing it up...very good job so far !!!

That body work is really thinking out-of-the-box.
Not too sure that you'll enjoy the hassle of fitting an Olds engine in there and the 409 is even bigger, the Nailhead might be easier, have never heard of one done. An A/LA is usually the easiest way out and certainly cheaper than the GM's.....
    Continuing photos are now required.

I'll shoe horn something in there. Found out that the guy wants 10k for the 409. Also know of a running 348 and power slide for 5k. Would love a big nailhead but the only one I can find is a 322 and it's stuffed and he still wants 1000 for it with no box behind it. For me a sbc chev is just a little to common as is the hemi or a 318 360 etc

Wow - was not expecting that 3 pictures in this was going from a standard 4 door to chopped 2 door conversion! Awesome work.

Are those the Mooneyes Full Spider hubcaps? Would love to see how they look on the car...

I've thought about one. over here we get a 265 hemi. straight 6. which I've also thought about. in there highest factory spec they were 300hp and capable of much more. but i want something with shitloads of bottom end snot. 413 would be cool. but it can wait the mighty 217 flat will do for now haha

I've only got 1 more night in the shed I've got before it starts getting the inside built. just finished 7 hours on it. unfortunately the doors are going to have to wait for another day for now. but I've made a huge dint in it over the past 2 weeks
