NAS Moffett Field near San Francisco

 

Back before it all got litigious and clogged with red tape, about any large expanse was ripe to hold a race. Here's some shots from the Sacramento fairgrounds where they raced around the barns and buildings. Throw down some hay bails and get after it!

I believe it's Dorothy Malone

 

Wonder if he's telling her to take it home, put it in the garage for 50 years and it will be worth a million bucks at the BJ auction.

Thanks to Joe Roberts for this great early pic of Jos. F. Stein's dealership in 1951 or so. In later years they went exclusively Cadillac.

That's who I was going to say it was. Very pretty but there's just something about her that suggests she could turn sour without much provocation. Of course, that's only my take on her.
