I'm getting this one in just under the wire, for the west anyway, it's already Saturday on the East coast. I'm participating in a global event called "Inktober" where thousands of artists across the world are producing at least one ink based drawing/sketch per day during the month of October. The following are the first three days of sketches, the first done at a car show, the second from my own photo, the third from a vintage photo;

Well this is my first attempt at art since I was 17, I am now 59 Should I keep doing it? Sorry for the terrible cell phone pic.

I am in the same boat as you, haven't had time to enjoy the art for years. Have done a few things over the years but really want to get started again.

For your first try since 17 I would say it is pretty damn good!

I've started back up when I was 49, now I'm 54. I really enjoy sketching, which is the important part of why I do it.
