To run with skirts or no skirts??

 

drop the ass end and run the skirts....otherwise, I like it as is

lose the skirts, lose the whitewalls, put a dropped axle up front and big and little black wall tires with a nice rake.

that's what I would do.

 

That would be different and nice to see.

I have a short door like that - never ever thought of running skirts on it- sure wish I'd seen this about 15 years ago-I think they look great- I'd run em

I vote no skirts and lower in front.. I really like short door coupes and yours is pretty cool...

 

now we're talking. this whole thing where everything has wide whitewalls and lowered in the back needs to stop.

 

Lose the skirts and jack that rear end up a bit. Fat Fords look better as hot rods than tail dragging customs. Front sits just right. 50s hot rods ran WWs as often that's what one could find.
Then fit a Potwin Eliminator cam and flip the shifter over to the left side.

 

I also vote no skirts, I set mine low with a rubber rake, really inspired by the way the black one sits.
