If you are interested in staying overnight the weekend of the Atlanta $10,000 Drags Race & Car Show, you should think about booking a room now. The Ga. Bulldogs are playing in Athens that weekend.
Let the motel know you are coming to the race and want their best rate.

It's our understanding that there has been some confusion regarding the upcoming 2014 Gear Jam meet at Atlanta Dragway (September 27) and the 2014 Atlanta $10,000 meet at Atlanta Dragway (October 10 & 11).

These are separate events, two weeks apart. We want to make sure the word gets out so that we can clear up any confusion.

Always remember! Support your local nostalgia drag racing events. That's what keeps 'em going.

I put out about 200 flyers at the red neck rumble last sat. Talked to a few from albama who said therewere planning on coming

 

Did someone get out to year one this past weekend? I swear I saw a few in front seats...

 

gotta support this........I had a ball last year, ran my best time ever.....unfortunately haven't been able to do it again

Yeah! Congratulations to Elaine Hughes Jape, Julius Hughes III, and the rest of the family for the induction of
the late Julius Hughes Jr. into the Georgia Racing Hall of Fame! Julius was already honored as an inductee into the NHRA (Div 2) Hall of Fame some years back.

Julius will be there. He'll be responding on this thread regarding where he'll be at the Gear Jam as soon as he gets a chance. I'm going to be at a huge car show in Senoia, GA. on that day.

 

I cant find the points for the shadyside race...

 

The points are included in the points totals on the website. I did not get to post the round by round results. I will try to do that by next week.

For some reason the Atlanta $10,000 Nostalgia Drags and Car Show is not shown on the Atlanta Dragway Website. The Race is only listed on the Schedule list.
